Yamaha RD350 RD400 Front Master Cylinder Rebuild Kit. Includes piston, seals, spring, circlip, and dust boot. Original Yamaha OEM part. This is for the 5/8 master cylinders. If you look on the bottom of your master cylinder and it has a "14" embossed this kit will not work. NOTE: This is for the YAMAHA OEM brake master cylinders, not for our reproduction master cylinders. Applications:

Yamaha RD400 (all years including Daytona) Rear Master Cylinder Rebuild Kit. This reproduction kit is assembled with high quality seals and includes main piston seal, spring with cap, circlip, dust boot, and banjo bolt washers, all the wearable parts that need to be replaced when rebuilding the master cylinder. Yamaha stopped making the rebuild kits several years ago and the other aftermarket kits had fitment issues, and were also recently discontinued, so we decided to produce our own aftermarket kit. Yamaha Brake Caliper Seal Kit - RD250/350/400 (73-78) XS TX. Includes main seals, dust seals, and small seal used between caliper halves and seal grease. Each kit services one caliper. Note: Yamaha no longer supplies red rubber grease packets witht he seal kit. This vegetable based grease is applied to the seals and helps keep them from seaping. Red rubber grease used on the seals will not contaminate your brake fluid. You can purchase red rubber brake grease at most automotive parts shops; However, most of the time, you can just lube the seals with brake fluid when rebuilding, but if you have any seaping after the rebuild then apply the red rubber grease to them. Note: This kit includes the small square section seal that fits between the caliper halves.

Red rubber grease (RGR) is used for repair, assembly and conservation of hydraulic brake components, apply thinly and evenly to cylinder sleeves, pistons, pins and seals. RGR rubber grease is compatible with DOT3/4 and 5.1 brake fluids. Contains Liquilon®, which lubricates long after conventional greases have washed out. Water repellent. Stands up to extremely high temperatures.

Yamaha RD Brake Caliper Modification Service. Modification of standard Yamaha RD front caliper to accept standard banjo bolt instead of hard line. We offer this service for existing calipers or our reproduction calipers offered here on the website. This modification includes removal of the stock banjo bolt flange and refacing of the banjo bolt mountnig surface.

Yamaha Brake Caliper FRONT - RD250/350/400 Reproduction caliper. Note this is a reproduction of the Yamaha front caliper and is set up to accept the standard hard line. Caliper is aluminum body and much lighter than stock (2lbs vs 3lbs 8oz approx). We offer a caliper modification service to allow this caliper to accept a standard banjo bolt for use with stainless steel braided lines. Note: This caliper uses a 10mm x 1.0 thread pitch banjo bolt.

Yamaha Brake Caliper REAR - RD400 (76-78) Reproduction caliper. Stock rear calipers are on longer available, but we can modify the reproduction front calipers for use on the RD400 rear. Modifications includes a relief for the rear disc carrier and removal of the hard line flange. With these modifications this is a simple bolt on caliper. Caliper is aluminum body and much lighter than stock (2lbs vs 3lbs 8oz approx). Note: Allow 5-7 days for this part prior to shipping. Note 2: This caliper requires a 10mm x 1.0 pitch banjo bolt, the stock rear caliper used a 10mm 1.25 pitch and will not work with this caliper.
